William Dan Stevens

Access RoadWilliam Dan Stevens of Covington, passed away September 18, 2011, at the age of 74. Mr. Stevens was employed by Life and Casualty Insurance Company for 25 years, as well as Ginn Motor Company for 20 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by his parents, William Jacob and Susie (Malcolm) Stevens.Survivors include his wife, Sandra Bowden Stevens of Covington; daughter and son-in-law, April and Tony Wilson of Conyers; sons and daughter-in-law, Todd and Alicia Stevens of Lula, GA, Kenneth Stevens of Covington; grandchildren, Daniel Wilson, and his wife, Ashley, Whitney Wilson, all of Covington, Logan Wilson of Conyers, Travis Stevens, and his wife, Lindsey, Jacob Stevens, Ben Stevens, Brooke Stevens, all of Lula, GA, Ethan Womack of Winder; great-grandchildren, Kassie Wilson, Erika Wilson, Jordyn Wilson, Austin Stevens, Levi Stevens, and Sara Stevens; sister, Oda Thompson of Covington, as well as several nieces and nephews.Funeral Services for Mr. Stevens will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2011, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Rev. Dickie Johnson officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, September 20, from 6-9 PM.
