William Bonner Watson,

William Bonner Watson, Jr., age 63, of Covington, died May 10, 2010.  He loved driving a tractor, and enjoyed the outdoors, especially watching the squirrels and birds.  Mr. Watson was a Vietnam Veteran, having served his country from December of 1965 until September of 1967.  He was predeceased by his parents, William Bonner, Sr. and Tillie Thornton Watson.  Mr. Watson was a devoted husband, father and especially grandfather. Surviving are his wife, Shirley D. Watson; sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Joy Watson, Brian and Heather Watson, all of Covington; grandchildren, Colin Frazier, Devin Tucker, Peyton Watson, Kylie Watson and Marleigh Watson; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Sonny Kirkpatrick; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services for Mr. Watson will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 13, 2010, at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, with Rev. Doug Craver, officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.Family will receive friends at the funeral home at 1215 Access Road Wednesday, May 12, from 6 to 8 PM.
