Zachary L. Hockenbery, 55, of Covington, died April 30, 2010. Born in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of the late Earl William and Dorothy Geraldine Holden Hockenbery, and worked as a machine maintenance mechanic for Thompson Mechanical.
Mr. Hockenbery is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Hockenbery; daughters, Tess Warnke of Marietta and Katelyn Clark of Covington; granddaughter Lauren, grandson Chase; brothers, Gary Hockenbery and Harold Hockenbery, both of St. Anthony, Idaho; step-sons, Terry Peavey, Johnny Peavey and Cory Stevenson, all of Covington; 14 step-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mr. Hockenbery will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 8, 2010, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, with Pastor Darrell Allen and Cory Stevenson, officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the memorial service, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.
