Matthew Monzon

Matthew Monzon, age 41, of Covington, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019. An artistic soul who loved to write poetry and create art, Matthew was also a talented tattoo artist, guitar player and vocalist. He had a strong sense of family and shared a close bond with his nieces and nephews. Matthew's favorite Bible passage was Romans 7: 15-20. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Andrew Monzon; and grammy, Mary Monzon.

Survivors include his mother, Suzanne Monzon; sister, Tiffany King; brothers, Darius Monzon, Jeff Tesh; nieces, Felicia Jones, Ashley Miller, Chelsea Hodge; nephew, Draden Monzon; great-nieces, Hannah Taylor, Ashlynn Jones, Julyana Jones, Payzlee Bell; and great-nephew, Dyllan Wagy.
